Fishnets had always been an important part of my style. I feel absolutely comfortable to wear them, especially the ones of relatively safe colors: dark brown, black or slate.

I am currently working in a corporate world, and even if there is no specific dress code to comply with, one should be always a bit careful what to wear in the office.

Fishnets can most certainly look good if worn the right way: the less you see of them the better. They can definitely turn the whole outfit into a different story if combined with a mini dress & high heels, but otherwise they are nothing to be afraid of. They are hot, classic & always stylish.

Their sophisticated diamond shape is sexy & elegant, which makes feel very “lady-like” & adds that seductive touch to anything we wear.

I  prefer them with a knee-length skirt, simple clothing (if bright colors) or with “hard” black leather boots (one of my favorite combinations) . There are also ways to combine them with jeans (fishnet socks) or shorts, as they are literally universal.

Fishnets have a long & interesting history, but they are often associated with either Burlesque performances, punk subculture or blatant vulgarity.

I presume not every girl is willing or dares to put them on, I know many who won’t!  Wrong stereotype? May be…

I love fishnets. If it is cold outside, I put some neutral thicker hosiery underneath and voila! Chick casual & fabulous!
